Welcome to my Food Blog. I love to bake and to cook, especially in creative ways, both changing old favorites and making new ones from scratch. I'm still working on my cooking, as I am "working out my salvation": "with fear and trembling". (Philippians 2:12, The Bible) :-)

I am also a follower of the Triune God: Yahweh, His Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit. He is everything to me, and everything I am is suffused by Him, including my photography, cooking, and writing. If you want to know more about how that works or what it means, I'd love to talk to you about it!

I will be posting as many recipes and stories of food failure/success as I can, with as many accompanying pictures (within reason-you don't need to see forty pictures of boiling water) as I can. Feel free to try my ideas out, if you like.
